Does this test only my WiFi?
It tests your whole connection: your WiFi, your internet provider and the path to the nearest server. To see if WiFi is the slow part, test once on WiFi and once with a cable.
Why is my result different from other speed tests?
Each test uses different servers, and WiFi speed changes from minute to minute. Run it two or three times and look at the usual result.
Is it free?
Yes. No sign-up and no daily limit.
Do you save my result?
No. The test runs in your browser using Cloudflare's speed test servers. Cloudflare receives the anonymous measurements (no name or email) to study internet quality.
What speed do I need for video calls?
For one HD video call, about 3 to 4 Mbps download and upload, with ping under 100 ms, is usually enough. More people or devices need more.
