What we check
- Proof it is really youSPF, DKIM and DMARC, as the receiving server checked them

Why "spam risk" and not "inbox or spam"? An email’s source does not show which folder it landed in, so we show the risk, not a promise. Tell us where your test landed and we will tailor the advice.
Checking your email
Fix these first
Nothing to fix. Send to a small group first, and test again whenever you change your setup or your tool.
The path it took
This copy does not show the servers it passed through.
How it works
Simple, in 3 steps.
- 01
Send a test to yourself
Send your real email, from the inbox or tool you use for cold email, to your own Gmail or Outlook address.
- 02
Paste its original
Open it, choose "Show original" in Gmail or "View message source" in Outlook, and paste everything here.
- 03
Get your score and fixes
A spam risk score out of 10, what the receiving server decided, and the exact fixes, with records to copy.
Honest by design
Why we call it a spam risk test
Gmail does not write into an email which folder it put it in, so no paste can prove "inbox". What the source does show is everything filters look at: whether SPF, DKIM and DMARC passed, the server and domain that sent it, its links and images, and its words. We score those, and when the receiving server wrote down its own spam verdict, as Outlook does, we show it as it is.
Real results
SPF, DKIM and DMARC as the receiving server checked them, not just what your DNS says.
The server that sent it
Its name and four blocklists. Lists that refuse public lookups are marked "not checked", never "clean".
Things people miss
Merge fields left as {{first_name}}, links that show one address and go to another, open-tracking pixels.
Fixes you can copy
Each problem comes with the fix in plain words, and the record to add when DNS is the fix.
Questions
Straight answers.
Does this tell me if my email lands in the inbox?
Not by itself. An email’s source does not say which folder it went to, so we score the spam risk instead: what the receiving server recorded, your sending server, your domain and the email itself. You can see where your test landed and tell us, so the advice fits.
Why paste the original source and not just the email?
The original source holds what the receiving server checked: SPF, DKIM and DMARC results, the server that sent it and, in Outlook, its own spam score. The words alone cannot show that. To check only the words, use the Cold Email X-Ray.
Is my email saved?
No. It is read in memory to make your report and then dropped. We do not keep the email, the addresses in it or the report. To keep the daily limit we count your tests with a code that changes every day, not your IP address.
How is the score worked out?
We start at 10 and take points off for each problem, with a limit for each area so one problem cannot hide the others. 8 or more is low risk, 5 to 8 is some risk, below 5 is high risk. If the receiving server itself marked the email as spam, the risk is high whatever the score.
Which mailbox should I send the test to?
A Gmail or Outlook address of your own. Both record SPF, DKIM and DMARC results, and Outlook also records its own spam score. A mailbox that has never had email from you gives the most honest result.
Why only 3 tests a day?
Each test looks up your domain and sending server in public DNS and on blocklists. 3 a day keeps it free for everyone. Fix the top items, then test again.
Can VENOVIQ fix this for us?
Yes. We set up domains and sending for cold email campaigns, so your emails reach people. Book a call and we will go through your report with you.
