How is the grade worked out?
Six parts add up to 100 points: subject line (15), spam risk (20), length (15), opening line (15), how much it is about them (15) and the ask at the end (20). A is 85 or more, B 70, C 55, D 40, and below that F. These are our own rules for cold email, not a measured reply rate.
Will a grade A email get replies?
It gives you the best start, but replies also depend on who you send it to, your offer and your timing. A clean list and a well set-up domain matter as much as the words.
Is my email saved or sent anywhere?
No. The X-ray runs inside your browser. To keep the daily limit, your browser only stores a count of checks for the day.
Why is there a limit of 100 a day?
It is a fair-use limit that keeps the tool free for everyone. It resets every day.
