What we score

Four things inboxes look at first.

  • 60

    SPF, DKIM and DMARC

Proof that the email really comes from you and wasn't changed on the way.

  • 15

    Domain age

Brand-new domains are a common sign of spam, so they are watched closely.

  • 10

    Mail server

A real mail server, so people can reply and the address is real.

  • 15

    Website and extras

A website shows who you are. MTA-STS, TLS reporting and BIMI add trust.

How it works

Three steps. No login.

  1. 1

    Type an address or domain.

The one you send from, a new domain you plan to use, or a partner's.

  2. 2

    We read public records.

Its email records, when the domain was registered and whether it has a website. We never send an email.

  3. 3

Get your score and what to fix first.

The fixes are sorted by how many points they win back, with records you can copy.

A good score is step one. Reaching the inbox every week is step two.

Questions

Good to know.

What is an email health score?

One number from 0 to 100 for how much inbox providers like Gmail and Outlook are likely to trust email from an address. It adds up the domain's email records, its age and its website.

Is it free?

Yes. Free visitors get 10 scores a day, with a quick robot check. No sign-up.

How is it different from the Domain health check?

The Domain health check looks at each email record in detail. The Email Health Score also looks at the domain's age and website, and turns it all into one score with the fixes that matter most.

Do you save what I check?

No. Free checks are not saved on our side, and we never send an email to the address.

Why does a new domain score lower?

Spammers often use brand-new domains, so inbox providers watch new ones closely. The score rises as the domain gets older.

Does a high score mean my emails will reach the inbox?

No tool can promise that. A high score removes the most common reasons emails go to spam. Your content, your list and how people react matter too.
